The James Cook Regional Anaesthesia Course

The James Cook Regional Anaesthesia Course is a comprehensive 2 day course covering:

  • Demonstrations of relevant anatomy to regional anaesthetists on cadavers by anatomy lecturers
  • Small group teaching (4 - 5 delegates per instructor) with simultaneous cadaveric teaching and scanning on volunteers at each station
  • Hands-on learning of needle techniques on phantoms
  • Lecturers on updates such as lipid rescue and paediatric regional anaesthesia
  • Opportunity to discuss tips and tricks with international experts in ultrasound regional anaesthesia

 

Approved by the RCA for 10 CPD points and approved by ESRA for 1 point in Cadaveric Category and for 2 points in hands-on workshops category.
