With a large number of bookable rooms at reasonable rates the Academic Centre offers you a choice of purpose-built conference facilities with up to date technology.

Refreshments and catering are offered at competitive rates and are available upon request.

    Lecture Theatres
The Academic Centre has two lecture theatres and its largest theatre is able to accommodate a maximum of 200 delegates. Both lecture theatres are fully fitted with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and presentation facilities, which include touch screen interfaces, broadband internet access and video conferencing. 

    Training/Teaching Rooms
Our training rooms are spacious and well equipped and can be set up to accommodate a range of training styles from classroom to theatre presentation. A range of audio-visual and presentation equipment is available in the majority of the training rooms as well as broadband internet access and video conference facilities.

     Meeting Rooms
Our meeting rooms are ideal for small meetings or breakout rooms to larger events with capacity from 8 to 40 delegates.

    Clinical Teaching Rooms
The clinical teaching facilities include 5 four bay wards, a clinical skills laboratory as well as 3 examination/consultation rooms. These facilities are subject to availability and dependant upon the student teaching programme.
