COURSE INFORMATION
This course is based upon the BSCCP syllabus for colposcopy trainees and is intended to facilitiate preparation for the MRCOG Part II examination and / or BSCCP accreditation in colposcopy.  It is aimed at FY2, ST1 and above, General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners and will consist of a range of comprehensive lectures.

TOPICS INCLUDE
*  Smear taking
*  Cytology preparation and assessment
*  NHS screening programme and terminology
*  Colposcopy of the normal and abnormal cervix
*  Histology of CIN and invasive squamous cell Carcinoma
*  Anxiety of women referred for Colposcopy
*  Treatment and management of cervical pre-cancer
*  Management of invasive disease
*  Epidemology of CIN and role HPV
*  Follow up women attending colposcopy
*  The difficut colposcopy
*  VaIN, VIN, AIN
*  Infections in colposcopy
*  Glandular lesions
*  Standards / audit / computerisation
*  HPV vaccination
*  Training and OSCEs

COSTS
The cost of the course is £300 per delegate which includes all delegate materials, refreshments and lunch.
