THE JAMES COOK REGIONAL ANAESTHESIA COURSE

COURSE INFORMATION
A comprehensive 2 day course which includes:

- Demonstration of relevant anatomy to regional anaesthetists on cadavers by Anatomy Lectures
- Small group (4-5) teaching at each station with hands-on learning on volunteers
- Three dimensional anatomical projection on volunteers
- Hands-on learning of needle techniques on phantoms
- Opportunity to discuss tips and tricks with international experts in ultrasound regional anaesthesia
- Lectures on updates such as lipid rescue and paediatric regional anaesthesia

POSTERS ACCEPTED AND OPPORTUNITY TO WIN THE JAMES COOK MEDAL OF HONOUR / £250 PRIZE

Abstracts should be submitted no later than 28th February 2011  for review of content and acceptance.  It should follow the headings of introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions, references and acknowledgements of any financial interest.  Posters will be anonymised and judged by a panel.  The three winning posters will be selected for a 10 minute presentation on the first day and awards will be presented during the course meal.  You must insert the correct email details and contact information and submit to: Dr A Aziz - ahmedaaziz@gmail.com
